Useful information before and during your stay — from arrival to departure.
Arrival and parking
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Spacious private parking is available right at the entrance to the property. If you would like to arrive earlier, message us on Booking.com and we will check whether an earlier arrival is possible.
Self check-in and keys
Dushka has self check-in: the main cabin key is kept in a secure lockbox by the entrance. The PIN and short access instructions are shared only with confirmed guests shortly before arrival. Details about the forest cabin key are shared privately as part of your stay instructions.
Registration of every guest
Registration takes place through the mVisitor app connected to eVisitor. Every overnight guest must be registered, not only the person who made the reservation, no later than arrival. Your personalised registration link is sent privately.
Sleeping and loft ladder
The double bed is in the loft. If sleeping upstairs is unsuitable, the sofa downstairs opens into a bed. This does not increase the number of permitted guests. Always lock the ladder wheels before climbing and never use the ladder while it can move.
Kitchen, coffee and essentials
The kitchen has a full set of pots, pans, crockery, glasses, cutlery and utensils. There is a fridge, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and bean-to-cup coffee machine. Coffee, tea, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, vinegar, dishwasher tablets and bin bags are provided in the kitchen.
Bathroom and towels
There is a spacious shower, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer and first aid kit. Each guest receives a large, medium and small towel. Fresh towels during longer stays can be arranged by messaging us. A safe, vacuum cleaner and mosquito protection products are also available.
Films, music and projector
The 4K projector displays onto the wall. Netflix, YouTube and 76 EON TV channels are available, as well as an acoustic guitar, portable speaker, books, board games and binoculars. The projector and picture are already carefully aligned: please do not move, rotate or reposition the projector.
Internet, work and lighting
Starlink Wi-Fi covers the cabin and outdoor areas, with speeds up to 300 Mbps (actual performance may vary). A portable laptop table is provided. Smart lighting lets you adjust brightness and colour warmth using a remote control.
Heating and cooling
The well-insulated cabin is comfortable year-round. In summer there is air conditioning and a battery-powered smart fan; in winter an extra electric radiator. Please use heating and cooling thoughtfully: close windows and doors while the AC or heating is on, and avoid extreme settings (such as 30 °C with doors open). Turn off unnecessary equipment when leaving.
Terrace, forest cabin and fire pit
There is a terrace lounge, gazebo, hammock and small forest A-frame hideaway with a mattress, pillows and blankets. Terrace cushions and the hammock are stored in sheltered spaces to keep them dry. Firewood and fire starters are provided. Never leave a fire unattended, extinguish it fully and do not light a fire when restrictions or weather conditions make it unsafe.
Water and nature
Tap water is drinkable and comes from a local source. The property is located in the Zagorske gore Nature Park; roughly 80% of the land is kept as longer meadow grass to support biodiversity. Please respect flowers, insects and wildlife, do not feed wild animals and do not leave food or waste outdoors overnight.
Waste and extra towels
Bin bags are provided in the kitchen. For short stays, leave tied bags inside the cabin or by the entrance just before departure. For longer stays, message us via Booking.com or WhatsApp to arrange collection; you may be asked to place sealed bags by the road at an agreed location. Please do not leave them by the road without arranging collection first. Extra towels can also be requested.
Visitors, pets and quiet
Daytime visitors are welcome, but only guests named and registered on the reservation may stay overnight. Parties and loud gatherings are not allowed. Pets are welcome with advance notice; please remember that the grounds are not fully fenced. Respect the peace of the place and the wildlife around you.
Safety and entrance CCTV
Smoking is not permitted inside either the main cabin or the forest hideaway. A smoke detector is installed, a fire extinguisher is near the entrance and a first aid kit is in the bathroom. The entrance to the property is covered by CCTV. Please use equipment with care and inform us promptly if anything seems unsafe or damaged.
Departure and assistance
Check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need extra time, contact us in advance and we will check whether a later departure is possible. Return the key to the lockbox and close it securely. During your stay, contact us through Booking.com messages or via the contact shared in your arrival message.
