How We Built Dushka

The idea of Dushka was born one December when we decided to buy a piece of land by the forest. We didn’t know much about construction, but we knew what we wanted: silence, nature, and a place that embraces the soul.

The first nail was hammered in with the hands of friends and family. We poured the foundation ourselves, full of laughter and muddy boots. Every piece of wood, every detail was chosen with care — not because it was expensive, but because it matched the story we wanted to live.

The roof arrived only in autumn. Beneath it, still without electricity, we ate our first sandwiches. It already felt like home, even though the windows hadn’t been installed yet.

This cabin is not just a building — it’s an experience. And every corner tells a story of people, time, and the will to create a space that doesn’t ask for much, but gives everything.
